Will it fit your car?

Fit depends on your tow bar, on how much clearance your car has at the rear, and on whether the box covers your rear lights or number plate. If you are unsure whether SKiiBOX works with your vehicle, ask us before you order and we will check it for you.

Check your tow bar capacity

The box and everything inside it rests on the tow ball. The box alone weighs 29–35 kg depending on the model and material, and takes up to 60 kg of load on top of that. Make sure the permitted vertical load of your car and of your tow bar covers the total. The lowest of the three limits always applies.

Number plate and lights

If the box covers your rear lights or your number plate, local road regulations require an additional light unit and/or a duplicate plate. Whether you need them depends on your vehicle. Ask us if you are not sure.
