1.0 Personal data

SKiiBOX is committed to handling personal data securely. To complete a purchase at skiibox.no we need your name, address, mobile number and e-mail address. This is necessary so that we can send your order to the correct delivery address, keep you updated on your order status, and contact you if anything needs to be clarified in connection with your order.

For our business customers who pay by invoice, we collect the company name, organisation number, the name of the contact person, the phone number of the contact person/company, the e-mail address of the contact person/company, and the invoicing address including any comments.

If you choose to register an account, shopping with us is faster and easier next time (this is optional). When you shop with us, we store your name, address and e-mail address, among other things. These are personal data that you provide to us and that are necessary for us to fulfil our obligations towards you.

SKiiBOX is required to retain this information for accounting, tax handling and any warranty or return handling. This history is deleted after ten years. For security reasons, we also store the IP address used when the order was placed. We do not store card numbers beyond what is necessary to ensure the efficient handling of any issues with charges, the release of reservations and refunds.

1.1 Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data that skiibox.no has registered about you, in accordance with applicable legislation. You may at any time request to receive this free of charge, in line with the legislation.

Information shall be disclosed/transferred in a secure manner. If the data subject submits the request electronically, the information will be provided in electronic form, unless the data subject requests otherwise.

You may at any time ask us to delete or correct your personal data, provided that we are not required to retain it under applicable legislation or other obligations we have.

You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to SKiiBOX – known as data portability. Where technically feasible, we can send this data directly to another business. If not, we will send the data to you by e-mail.

Because we protect the information we hold about you, you must identify yourself with valid identification in order to access it. The same applies if you wish to end the customer relationship and, in that connection, have all your personal data deleted from our register. In that case, please contact our customer service at the address given under point 3.0.

You may withdraw the consent you have given us at any time.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) if you believe that your personal data is not being processed in accordance with the legislation or this policy.

1.2 Retention of personal data

The Norwegian Accounting Act requires us to store transaction data for 5 years. In order to safeguard customers' rights in connection with warranty and complaints under the Consumer Purchases Act, the Sale of Goods Act and the terms of sale of skiibox.no, we store purchase history for 10 years.
