Extra license plate that can be used as an additional plate if the original plate on the car is covered by, for example, a bike rack, cargo box / SKiiBOX, or anything else that obstructs it. This plate is approved for use as an extra plate. The plates are produced using high-quality materials with UV printing to ensure long-lasting color and durability.
This is a reasonably priced insurance. Driving with a covered license plate may result in fines (2750 NOK) and, in the worst case, a driving ban.
When ordering, please write your license plate number as a comment to your order in the format: "XX 12345". Double-check that your license plate number is correct, as the product is made to order and therefore exempt from the right of withdrawal.

Plate Type
You can choose between two types of plates:
- 2 mm aluminum with reflective surface + UV-resistant printing (very solid plate)
- 3 mm composite with 0.3 mm aluminum sheets on both sides. The surface is reflective with UV-resistant printing.
If you choose plates with holes, they will have two holes — 90 mm from each side and 10 mm from the top edge of the plate.
The regulations for this can be found in the Norwegian Vehicle Regulations § 3-4 no. 7 :
7 a) When transporting a bicycle across the rear of a car with a width of 180 cm or less, the bicycle must be mounted so that the total length does not exceed 180 cm when measured horizontally. If the bicycle extends beyond the sides of the car, it must be mounted symmetrically around the vehicle’s centerline. The provisions in paragraph 1 do not apply to such transport.
7 b) If the bicycle covers the car’s lights or license plate, a light bar must be used with a letter and number combination showing the vehicle’s registration number.
The light bar must have rear lights, brake lights, turn signals, and reflectors.
7 c) The marking must consist of the vehicle’s registration number in black, approximately the same size as on the original plate. It must have a white or aluminum-colored background, be clearly visible, and made of durable material.
